I’ve been super distant on the blog and all my other social media BUT there’s a reason. I’ve got a month to go to submit my thesis and it’s been quite stressful. So bear with me, I will be back to normal soon! I woke up earlier than usual on this blessed Sunday so I thought I’d try to catch up on some blogging (although I have a long way to go)! Today? It’s all about the new brand of watches Henry London launched at the Pink Fashion show. Henry London watches are available at all Sunlab and VIP stores.
These watches have an interesting story. The brand began when two young fashion designers started exploring London’s vintage districts. In Portobello Road, one of the designers came across a classic Swiss wristwatch with the words ‘Henry, August 1965’ engraved at the back. When she showed the watch to her partner, they decided to reinvent the Henry watch!
The beauty and art in the Henry London range is in the finely executed detail. The bracelets are made from high quality stainless steel while the straps are made from a fine soft leather which is coloured to evoke a beautiful palette of heritage shades. And guess what?! The designers decided to honour their inspiration by leaving the inscription inspired by the original watch. There is also space for a personally engraved message.
There are 15 collections to Henry London, all named after places in London. My favourite? It’s a tie between ‘Finchley’ and ‘Shoreditch’! You’ll have to check back soon to see which one I got 😉 I can’t wait to show you!
