I’ve reached a point where I don’t like half the things I have in my wardrobe. In the last couple of months, I’ve realised that my style has stepped it up a notch into a less pattern more basic kind of way. I have an image in my head of how I want my wardrobe to look like but this will need more money than I currently have and, therefore, more time. So, at the moment, I am making the most of what I have. Case in point: this maxi skirt. It’s too girly and purple for my liking nowadays but something in it still has a special place in my heart. I balanced out the girly element with a black high-neck crop top. Somehow I felt less like a princess and more in my zone with the black ensemble. The Skagen jewellery completed the outfit with an elegant touch. That necklace is one of my favourite pieces currently in store at Sunlab and VIP.
