• Brand Focus: Oysho

Ladies and gents, I am a changed woman. I have finally decided to stick to my on-again off-again healthy lifestyle. Before we move forward, you need to know that this is a big step that I have decided to take on in my 22 years living on this planet. I might have the world’s biggest sweet-tooth and I might like sitting on my bed watching episode after episode of Once Upon A Time way too much. But no more! Or at least…a little less! I have been keeping a food journal and going to gym classes everyday (more on this another time) for almost a month now. I have a long way to go but I can already see the changes in the way I think about myself and in the way that I feel about myself. The difference this time round is that I am not doing this to have THE perfect body but rather to live a healthier lifestyle.

Being healthy revolves around what you eat but that’s only half of the picture. It’s also important to exercise. So, I kicked my own ass off the bed and started my hunt for suitable gym wear. I started getting motivated about going to gym classes the only way I know how…by shopping my heart out. That’s when I discovered Oysho, the lovely store at -2 level The Point which for some reason I always thought that it only sold lingerie. But boy, was I wrong. Oysho offers various styles of gym wear ranging from the more stretchy material normally associated with gym clothes to their studio collection which is more looser in fit. This is perfect for me since I’m not comfortable with wearing all-tight-everything yet. I mix and match items from different collections such a choosing a tight fit top but going for a looser shorts/pants option. The prices are extremely affordable and you can be rest-assured that you will leave the store with a whole outfit in your shopping bag, from the actual clothes to running shoes and accessories.

You should definitely check it out if, like myself, you’re on a budget but still want to look cool-like-the-cool-kids at the gym. Check out my favourite pieces at the moment and you can click through here to view the collection.
