• Top 5 Holy Grail Items for #MFWA15

While Fashion Week might be over and I’m having a well needed break from uploading posts at 1am, you can still find that busy week swirling in my head recapping all the best moments. My outfit photos will be up over the weekend but today’s post is more about the top products which helped me keep my sanity during that very fulfilling but hectic week.

First up is Bioderma. I’m not complaining about the fashion shows and receptions but let’s just say I never got an early night last week. The last thing I felt like doing after blogging away at 1am was removing a whole face of make-up. Bioderma Sensibio H20 was my knight in shining armour. Just a few drops on a cotton bud and HELLO bare face. It also left my face feeling fresh without any sign of redness or irritation.

I have a bad case of dry elbows and knees and, being that Fashion Week occurred on a week with blessed weather, my outfits consisted of dresses and short sleeved items. The Body Shop Dewberry Mure Sauvage Body Lotion is a product I picked up every day during this week and have been using constantly ever since. Although, I associate the smell with that of seaweed and it might not be very pleasant at first, it is instantly absorbed into the skin with no time wasted. Being always in a hurry I wanted something quick but still moisturising enough to soothe my dry patches.

When in doubt, choose a red lipstick. That is my lipstick motto and my favourite has got to be MAC Ruby Woo. It is literally the perfect shade; it’s not too strong and bright but still very noticeable. The formula is extremely matte, so much so, that you don’t really need a liner underneath and it will stay put for ages. Whenever I looked into the mirror this week and thought ‘What lipstick should I wear?’…’Yep, Ruby Woo it is!’.

Having a hectic week means that there’s really no time to fiddle with your hair every single day. This is where Ontop Barcelona‘s headbands and turbans came in. They, very kindly, agreed to be my sponsors for Fashion Week and provided me with the headbands and turbans you’ll be seeing later on this week. When there was no time to straighten my hair or style it, a fun headband was all it took to brighten up my outfit and make me look a tad more presentable. Or at least, I think they did!

There was no way I was going to make my feet suffer in heels for a whole week. When they decided that they needed a break, a stylish pair of flats had to come in. These Aldo babies are my recent purchase. Aldo were also my sponsors for bags and accessories…but more on that later! Although I bought these flats in occasion for Fashion Week, I’m definitely going to get a lot of wear out of them. I mean, look at them!
