At the moment, I’m under-going ‘post-traveller blues’ and reliving my holiday through these pictures is not helping me to move on with my persistent student-life deadlines and normal day-to-day routines.

Berlin’s history is surely captivating and I would really love to visit again to further explore the city. If, like me, you’re a first-time visitor, apart from the Berlin wall, the Holocaust memorial is an attraction to look out for. The somber and weighty atmosphere cannot ever be fully described in words.

The Alexanderplatz square was definitely the highlight of my trip. Aside from the fact that the major shopping outlets are located there, the vibe the square gives off is synonymous to my perception of an ideal city. The little stalls selling various foods and local crafts were just a pleasure to go around and explore. Also, on one particular day, there was one particular guy playing his guitar and singing with an Ed Sheeran-like voice that magnetised my attention and had me listening to him till the end of his show.

    Until  we meet again, Berlin.
