If you follow other Maltese bloggers (you should!), you might know that a couple of weeks ago, Roseberry launched its Make-up Designory (MUD) products. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it to the event but the lovely Ms Kida Rama kindly invited me for a little one-on-one session to catch up on the new make-up everyone is talking about.
MUD started off as a make-up school but evolved into producing its own products for their clients due to high demand. The great thing about this brand’s products is their flexibility and versatility. One particular brush (#940 foundation brush) can be simultaneously used for foundation, concealer, blusher and blending together different products which makes it the IT brush for travelling. The quality of the brushes is way beyond incredible since a good number of them are made from real hair so it is guaranteed that they will not feel harsh on your skin. I believe that investing in good-quality brushes and make-up is surely worth the price since not only will they perform better but will also last a life-time in your collection.
Keeping on the flexibility trail of MUD products, I was very impressed with the Face Primer. This silicone based primer can be mixed with different products to give them a whole new effect. By mixing it with foundation, the pigmentation is minimised to get that lighter feel on your face. When mixing it with eye-shadows and lipsticks, the colour becomes more intense.
The eye-shadows are so pigmented and the colours are gorgeous and apply beautifully on the eyelids. The lipsticks are as creamy as can be and feel very soft on the lips. One thing to keep in mind is that a little product goes a very long way with MUD make-up.
Another genius product is the cake eyeliner. This is water-activated and is known for its precision and versatility. You can create a fine line for an everyday look or a more dramatic eye for an intense evening look.
While testing out some of the products, I was also treated to a little make-over and I loved how the eyeshadow and liner looked on my eyes!
Make-up Designory can be found at Roseberry in Valletta so go check it out and let me know what you think of the brand. I bet you’re only going to have positive thoughts!
