• First Look: Yves Rocher Malta

If you haven’t heard about this brand yet, listen up! If you have…well I’d suggest that you’d still stick around because there’s bound to be some interesting detail you don’t know about the amazing brand of Yves Rocher.

Yves Rocher has been around since 1959 founded by Yves Rocher himself. Before opening his first store, he was dedicated in sending all his products by mail order from his family’s attic! I’m sure he’d be proud of all his hardwork since the brand has truly expanded and  is now readily available in 88 different countries around the world, including Malta, stores located in Sliema, Valletta and Paola. Furthermore, it is the top skincare/cosmetics brand in France. And here’s why!

Yves Rocher researchers focus their studies on botanicals naturally similar to the skin, making their products more gentle and compatible with your skin type. Therefore, the main ingredients in most of the Yves Rocher products are plants. The reasoning behind all this is that since both the plant and the skin are alive, ‘it is best to offer active botanical ingredients that are easily and naturally assimilated’.

Not impressed yet? You should be but here’s something interesting. Yves Rocher is the harvester, manufacturer and distributor. Therefore, they are in charge of the whole process and know exactly what’s in their products and how they are made up to their very final stage. All this for a very affordable price…I say that’s a bargain both for your bank account and for your skin!

I had the opportunity to visit the Paola store last week which also has a botanical spa (more on this later on). I have never entered a store where the atmosphere felt so welcoming. Not only do the staff greet you with a warm smile but the variation of colours that the products have to offer makes you feel like this really is heaven on earth.

I can assure you that you won’t leave an Yves Rocher store empty-handed. There is something for everyone: skincare, cosmetics, fragrances, hair care etc. There’s also a men’s section. Whatever skin type you have, there’s a range just for you. What more could you ask for?!

This won’t be the last time you hear about Yves Rocher on this blog…expect more to come soon enough!
