For as long as I can remember I’d like to think I’ve been The Body Shop’s number 1 fan! All of their products smell absolutely divine. I especially love their body butters and one of them made it in my recent favourites post. So when I was invited by the lovely Elaine from Blabber Beauty to be one of her six guests to attend a Body Shop event, I was over the moon.
After going round Sliema a few times to find a good parking spot, I made my way to The Body Shop in Plaza where we were invited to listen to a small presentation, mostly about the new Wild Argan Oil Range. This range consists of nine products, those being: the solid lip oil, the miracle solid oil, the bubbling bath, the body butter (view my thoughts here), the shower gel, the rough scrub, the radiant oil for hair and body, massage soap and the body lotion. View all the products here for a closer look.
The Body Shop gets this collection from their community fair trade in Morocco. Here’s a short video, describing the whole process better!
All of these products contain argan oil which is know for giving the skin that extra bit of nourishment. The argan oil scent is just divine which makes these products perfect for your morning shower or that last shower before tucking yourself into bed with a warm cup of tea.
We were then shown a make-up application of a very natural but beautiful look using some of The Body Shop products.
One of the products which caught my attention was the InstaBlur. This is an all-in-one product which acts as a shine controller (12hr), reduces the appearance of pores, hides blemishes, unifies your complexion and extends your make-up.
Simultaneously, you could also get your nails done with the new Colour Crush nail polish range! The colours are simply gorgeous and I couldn’t resist from buying one which I’m sure you’ll see it soon up on the blog.
It was a lovely evening surrounded by two of my favourite things; bloggers and friends, and The Body Shop! And a very generous goody bag which you’ll see reviews later!
The Body Shop can be found in Sliema (Plaza), Valletta, Bugibba and Paola. Visit their Facebook page here!
Thanks goes to The Body Shop for having us!
